We are seeking a Services Manager to lead and develop our counselling and therapy services.
This is a key leadership role, ensuring services are safe, inclusive, and responsive to client needs while supporting the professional growth of our therapeutic team. You will:
- Lead day-to-day delivery of our counselling and therapy services.
- Manage rotas, referrals, assessments, waiting lists, and outcomes monitoring.
- Provide inspiring leadership and line management to staff, placements, and volunteers.
- Act as joint safeguarding lead, ensuring best practice in safeguarding children and adults.
- Develop policies, procedures, and quality standards to support safe and effective services.
- Build strong partnerships with the NHS, funders, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to fundraising, commissioning, and contract bids.
- Deputise for the CEO when required.
About you
This role is ideal for someone with a strong track record of managing counselling or therapeutic services and a passion for making a difference in the lives of people affected by eating distress.
You will bring:
- At least two years’ experience managing counselling/therapy services in health, charity, or community settings.
- Experience managing staff, volunteers, or placements.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support a team.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, monitoring and evaluation, and counselling/psychotherapy frameworks (BACP/UKCP).
- Experience of partnership working, ideally with NHS or statutory services.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and digital skills.

- £37,803 per annum (pro rata for part time)
- 28 days annual leave (pro rata), rising with service, including three Christmas closure days (excluding bank holidays)
